CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., May 3, 2016 – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the industry’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated trailers and a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers is pleased to announce that Florida Utility Trailers, Inc. has completed construction of its fourth facility located in Hialeah, Florida – eleven miles northwest of Miami.
“This new location is a great opportunity to expand into the rental and leasing business and solidify our overall position in Florida. Business has grown and we haven’t even scratched the surface,” said Jack Beville, President of Florida Utility Trailers. “We expect in the near future that Hialeah may end up being our largest location. We are also excited about the team of professionals we’ve put together. We are confident that they will take this location to the next level.”
Acquired back in 2010, there have been a few challenges in developing the Hialeah dealership. “The current location was originally an old Consolidated Freight crossdock operation. We knocked down the biggest portion of the crossdock to build the new shop and parts warehouse. We completely re-modeled the existing office space. This process was lengthy and difficult due to a variety of regulatory issues. It took almost three years to complete, yet we believe it will be worth the effort,” added Mr. Beville.
Florida Utility Trailers has full service dealerships located in Lakeland, Apopka, Tampa and Hialeah. The new full service facility is situated on 5 acres of land serving southern Florida, and is located at 6425 E. 8th Avenue, Hialeah Florida 33013. They can be reached at 1-800-223-8382. The facility has a 500 sq. ft. parts showroom and 10,000 sq. ft. parts warehouse. The service department is now open with 10 service bays.
