CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., August 11, 2011 – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the industry’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated trailers and a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers is pleased to introduce new standard features and options at a press conference during the upcoming Great America Trucking Show (GATS) to be held in Dallas, Texas on August 25, 2011.
Utility will be unveiling two new options available for Utility’s refrigerated and flatbed trailers. The new options will consist of a newly improved extended wear surface floor system on the #1 selling Utility 3000R® refrigerated trailer and a new tie down system on Utility’s 4000A™ flatbed trailer. As a new standard feature on all Utility refrigerated trailers, Utility has added a high-impact lining to the sidewall. The high-impact fiberglass lining initially was only included on the ceiling, underskin, rear door, and front wall. Now with the inclusion of the sidewall, the entire interior will be covered with a highly durable lining.

Utility is introducing the next generation in advanced aerodynamic side skirts. The new USS-120A (Utility Advanced Side Skirt 120A) model is classified by U.S. EPA SmartWay® as an advanced side skirt. The new USS-120A will be featured on Utility’s 3000R® refrigerated trailer on display at GATS in Booth #20145 in Hall F. More information will be announced during the press conference on August 25, 2011 at 2:45pm – 3:15pm CDT in the Press Conference Room at the Dallas Convention Center.
