Utility’s Marion plant manufactures the #1 selling 3000R® refrigerated trailers. In fact, Utility’s Marion plant worked over 1.89 million hours in 2011 without an incident resulting in days away from work. The TTMA award was recently presented to Marion’s Plant Manager, Brad Starkey.
“To achieve such an award is due to a well-trained team of management and employees with great attitude, high work ethic and an overwhelming desire to work safely. Employees here at the Marion plant practice the motto, Safety Begins With Me. Each employee takes this very seriously,” said Starkey. Dan Potts, Utility’s Marion Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager adds, “This award recognizes the effort of each employee to remain dedicated to their personal safety, everyday. Safety education and training for all employees, at all levels within the plant, and personal involvement of our employees in the safety process is the cornerstone of our success.”
